Using and re-using, or using and throwing away?

How often do you replace technical devices, gadgets and appliances?
Are you the type of person who always wants the latest technology and therefore replaces their devices and gadgets on a regular basis or do you use, fix and re-use them until they wear out or fall apart?

For many reasons, but mainly to spend less money, I try to use all the equipment as much as I can, and replace it only when it is damaged and can not work any longer.

I tend to be that way too, except that when it comes to computer gadgets I sometimes get carried away.
Addiction, perhaps?

Take a look here.

If I was younger certainly I bought all of the computer gadgets, because I thing it's a addiction, but, sometimes, I have, whith my age, very difficulties to move the computer and some very advanced gadgets, and so I have to ask for help

Hummm...
When you say you have many "difficulties to move the computer and some very advanced gadgets", do you mean you have difficulties in moving them from one place to another... or do you mean "exchanging" them for a new one?

I think you meant the second one, is that so?

A grammar point, also:
"If I was younger certainly I bought..." is not OK. This is the Second Conditional in action, which asks for the structure:
If + Paste Simple --> Conditional (Would + Infinitive)

So the sentence should be:

If I were [Sorry, but that's the way to do it, in this type of sentences] younger, I would certainly buy...

My best regards,
